You’ve Been Missing Greenland’s Ski Season
Ski season is officially open in Greenland. In May. This photo from the upcoming January 2012 issue of Outside shows Johnny Collinson plunging off a 35-foot headwall of glacial ice on the outskirts of Kulusuk, Greenland. Hard to not appreciate the extreme amount of calculation needed by both photographer and skier, in order to land this shot.
